대통령이 국민들 의견을 듣질 않아요.

 

“why they got the money, for what purpose”

무슨 이유로 돈을 나눠주는거지?

 

“I think it should only be given to the people who deserve it,”

자격이 있는 사람에게 줘야 한다고 생각해요.

 

“a lot of people in America pay a lot of taxes”

이미 미국인은 충분히 많은 세금을 내고 있거든요.

 

 

[기자 오프닝]

“2015년 하반기부터 한국 정부는 전국민을 대상으로 최소 15만원에서 최대 40만원까지 지원하겠다고 발표했습니다. 물가 상승과 경기침체 속 국민들의 생활비 부담을 덜어주기 위한 조치라고 하는데요. 누구에게는 반가운 지원일 수 있고 또 어떤 이들에게는 세금 낭비라는 비판도 나오고 있습니다.”

 

“그렇다면 외국인들은 이같은 전국민 지원금 지급 정책을 어떻게 바라볼까요? 본인의 나라에서는 이런 지원을 어떻게 바라보며 실제로 경험한 적이 있는지 외국인들의 반응을 직접 들어봤습니다.”

 

Q1. 나라에서 100달러를 준다면?

 

[오스트리아]

“From Austria”

오스트리아에서 왔어요.

 

“Surprised and happy. but they would ask the question. why they got the money, for what purpose.”

좋지만 놀랄 것 같아요. 목적이 뭔지 묻겠죠. 무슨 이유로 돈을 나눠주는거지?

 

[호주]

“We're from Australia Melbourne.”

호주에서 왔어요.

 

“We think that everyone would be happy to receive money. I think it should only be given to the people who deserve it. like students and people of low income so I think everyone would appreciate it”

돈을 받으면 누구나 좋아할 것 같지만. 자격이 있는 사람에게 줘야 한다고 생각해요. 학생이나 저소득층 같은 분들은 다들 고마워할 거예요.

 

“$100 isn't a lot in Australia. But people are really worried in Australia. as well about the economy”

다만 호주에서는 100달러가 크게 도움 되진 않아요. 호주 사람들은 정말 걱정이 많아요. 이런 경제 구조에 대해서요.

 

[멕시코]

멕시코에서 왔어요

 

“people always like money. very popular measure. If they gave $100 to every citizen. I think the citizens would like that”

사람들은 돈을 좋아하죠. 반응 좋을 것 같은데요. 시민들은 좋아할 거예요.

 

[미국]

“The United States Los Angeles, California”

미국에서 왔어요.

 

“People like money. and they need money to survive. You know what? I'm scared. a lot of money in taxes and a lot of things. it's not good for people. a lot of people in America pay a lot of taxes”

사람들은 돈을 좋아하죠. 생존하려면 돈이 필요하죠. 근데 저는 무서워요. 그런 많은 돈이 세금 등으로 올꺼니까. 사람들에겐 좋진 않다고 생각해요. 이미 미국인은 충분히 많은 세금을 내고 있거든요.

 

[벨기에]

“Belgium”

벨기에에서 왔어요

 

“We have some systems that give money to people with lesser money. In Belgium, we already have a lot of taxes. very high taxes. So if everyone gets a little bit... From the government we are happy.

이미 돈이 없는 사람한테 돈을 주는 제도가 있어요. 벨기에 사람들은 이미 세금을 많이 내고 있어요. 금액도 정말 높아요. 그래서 정부에서 돈을 준다면 정말 좋죠.

 

[프랑스]

“We are from France Paris”

프랑스에서 왔어요.

 

“In my country, people will be very happy. because French love money. And in our country everything is very, very expensive. So that would help a lot of people”

사람들이 좋아할 거예요. 프랑스 사람들은 돈을 좋아해요. 그리고 우리나라는 모든 게 아주 비싸요. 많은 사람들에게 도움이 되지 않을까요.

 

[필리핀]

“From the Philippines”

필리핀에서 왔어요.

 

“Citizens would like if the government gave $100. It would just help them”

정부가 100달러를 준다면 정말 큰 도움이 될 거예요.

 

[튀르키예]

“I'm from Turkey”

튀르키예에서 왔어요.

 

“Turkish people will be like this. I think they will be scared? because what they want? why they gave us to this money? But I think many of them will be happy. $100 in Turkey is too many money”

튀르키예 사람들은 이러겠죠. 뭔가 무서운데? 원하는 게 무엇일까? 왜 우리에게 돈을 줬지?근데 그래도 사람들은 좋아 할 것 같아요. 100달러는 튀르키예에서 큰 돈이거든요.

 

Q2. 나라별 정부의 지원은?

 

[호주]

“During the pandemic, we had a few programs that were set up to give people money. I think it's about $200 Australian a week”

코로나19 기간동안 실직자들에게 돈을 지원해줬어요. 일주일에 200달러 정도

 

[미국]

“The United States gave people a stimulus check. The cheques were around 1200”

미국은 시민들에게 경기 부양 수당을 줬어요. 1200달러 정도였어요.

 

[벨기에]

“Belgium gives everyone every year money. 60 euros each year extra (every year?) Every year”

벨기에는 매년 돈을 지원해줘요. 60유로 정도예요. (매년요?) 네 매년.

 

[프랑스]

“we have the CAF. CAF is when government gave money a little money. More than 100 euros.”

CAF라는 제도가 있어요. 정부에서 어느 정도 보조금을 지원해줘요. 100유로 정도 주는 거 같아요

 

[필리핀]

“It's never been all citizens. There's never been everyone. Advice Advice. Only advice on how to go about it”

모든 시민에 혜택은 없어요. 그런건 없어요. 조언은 해줘요. 뭐든 잘 극복하라고 응원

 

[튀르키예]

“I guess not They don't give. Yeah, they didn't”

없었던 것 같은데. 네 없었어요

 

[오스트리아]

“Yes, our government has done it before. We've got climate bonus. That's where everybody gets a bit of money. and take care more of the environment”

우리나라에서는 있었죠. 환경 보너스를 받았죠. 거기서 다들 조금씩 돈도 받고 환경을 더 신경 쓰죠.

 

Q3. 국민이 원하는 정부의 지원은?

 

[호주]

“Education learn or support. would be the best way at the moment. Students are really struggling to pay the rent”

교육이나 배움에 대한 지원. 이런 것들이 최선이에요. 학생들은 월세도 못 내고 있으니까요.

 

[멕시코]

“It's in health, health system. in providing good health system. to everybody, 100% of the population”

국민 의료에 대한 지원. 좋은 의료 시스템을 제공하는 것. 모든 사람들에게요.

 

[미국]

“Tax cuts, that would be helpful. especially to the people who need it. I think it has to be a balance. A lot of governments make a lot of money. also contributes back to the economy”

세금감면. 필요한 사람들 많을 걸요? 균형을 잘 유지 해야 해요. 이미 정부는 돈이 엄청나게 많아요. 경제에 기여도 해야 하겠죠.

 

[벨기에]

“We have really high taxes so most people would like tax cuts. Housing is also a problem. housing assistance is for me the best supporting way”

세금이 정말 높아서 대부분 세금 감면을 원해요. 집 문제도 심각해요. 주택 지원은 정말 도움 된다고 생각해요.

 

[프랑스]

“have to listen to people. because our president doesn't listen to us. No, we don't like him. France is very expensive”

국민들 말 좀 들어요. 대통령이 국민들 의견을 듣질 않아요. 우린 그 사람 싫어요. 지금 프랑스 물가는 미쳤으니까.

 

[필리핀]

“We don't have that education. For health care too. We don't have any health care”

교육에 대한 지원도 없고 의료에 대한 지원도 없어요. 의료에 대한 아무런 지원이 없어요.

 

[튀르키예]

“Tax cuts would be very, very good. I think this is the best”

세금 감면이 제일 좋겠죠. 이게 최고라고 생각해요.

 

[오스트리아]

“I think the best way for the government. to support these people is the education to pour more money”

정부가 국민을 지원하는 가장 좋은 방법은 교육이에요. 교육에 돈을 더 쏟아 부어야 해요.
